At Shining Bright we believe we are made in God's image. As such, we bear God's creative characteristics. We believe it's important to give children the tools to explore and refine their talents in order to worship God and act as co-creators in bringing His kingdom to life everywhere they go.

Art
Tiny Creators
Age: 3-5 Years Old
Fridays 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M.
Enrollment and Materials Fee: $100 per semester

Prerequisite: None
Semester: Fall. 16 Weeks. Starts August, 15.
Children will explore different forms of art such as clay, watercolors, paint, chalk and more! Children will learn about different mediums and techniques while exploring their creative potential in a fun and supportive environment.
Artistic Creators
Age: 6-10 Years Old
Mondays: 3:30 P.M. - 4:30 P.M.
Thursdays: 3:30 P.M. - 4:30 P.M. OR

Inspired Art (Beginners)

This is a class where art and worship meet! Students will work on artistic creations based on a theme and scripture from the Word of God. Students are encouraged to incorporate what they see, hear, and feel into their creations as they listen to worship music. They will then get to share their creations and what inspired them if they are so inclined.
Homeschool Art
Age: 5 Years Old and Up

Keyboard Tots

Children in this class will engage in fun activities that will help tune their ear in listening, echoing games and more! Students will also get prepared in learning piano basics to become ready for Pre-Twinkle Piano.
Pre-Twinkle
Age: 4 Years Old and Up

Friday: 11:00 P.M. - 12:00 P.M

In this introductory Suzuki Piano course, students will learn common twinkle rhythms, sight reading, notation form, playing techniques and more! Students will engage in fun musical activities to help retention and endurance building. Upon completion, children will have a pre-twinkle graduation and receive a certificate.
Keyboard Explorers (Book 1)
Age: 5 Years Old and Up

Prerequisite: Keyboard Explorers Pre-twinkle
Semester: Fall. 16 Weeks. Starts August, 19.
Students who have successfully completed Pre-Twinkle will move on to Level 1 of the Suzuki Book One piano program! Students in this course will begin to learn the melody of classical songs such as Honey Bee, Cuckoo, and more! Students will begin playing with two hands together and learning the Alberti Bass rhythms.
Ukulele
Age: 4 Years Old and Up
Fridays: 1:00 P.M - 2:00 Pm OR

As a wonderful first instrument for children, ukuleles teach kids about music and music theory. Through ukulele lessons, children will learn about beat, harmony, melody, rhythm, and tempo. The ukulele also helps children develop eye-hand coordination as well as independent movement of fingers, preparing them for a variety of instruments in the future.
Spanish

As the second most widely spoken language in the U.S., Spanish is an extremely beneficial language for children to learn. Not only will it prepare them to connect with others and secure better opportunities for their future, bilingual children also experience numerous cognitive benefits. This wonderful Spanish class will focus on conversation, grammar and reading.

In this class students will explore the wondrous ways of the ukelele. Students will get to learn and name the parts of this instrument as well as learning the names of the strings. Practice makes perfect in learning the different chords and the ways of transitioning! Students will get to learn basic songs as well as strumming techniques and other basics.
