Art Classes
At Shining Bright Preschool, Art is more than just a class — it’s a way for children to explore, imagine, create, and understand the world around them. Through hands-on activities and rich materials, children learn to express ideas, solve problems, and build confidence as young artists.

Preschool Art
Our Preschool Art program introduces young learners to the joy of creating through process art—a child-centered approach focused on exploration rather than the final product. Preschoolers experiment with color, shape, texture, and simple tools while discovering the foundational elements of art in a playful, sensory-rich environment. Each experience is designed to inspire curiosity, build fine-motor skills, and encourage joyful self-expression.
Ages: 4–5 (VPK age)
Class Length: 45 minutes
When: Mondays and Wednesdays 1pm

Art 1
Art 1 is our next-level class for school-age children (ages 5–8). This class introduces deeper exploration of the core elements of art—line, shape, color, value, texture, form, and space—through imaginative, open-ended projects. Students learn new techniques, work with a wider variety of materials, and begin developing artistic independence.
Art 1 is still process-focused and hands-on, but with added structure to support growing skills, creativity, and artistic confidence.
Ages: 5 - 10 years old
Class Length: 1 hour
