Celebrating the Shining Bright Campers: Piano Performance Night!
On Wednesday, August 2nd, at 6pm, we will be hosting a mesmerizing Piano Performance Night! Our campers have been diligently practicing their music and are thrilled to showcase their skills during this special event.
The passion and dedication our young musicians have poured into their piano practice have been inspiring. From delightful melodies to harmonious tunes, they are sure to leave you enchanted with their performances. So, mark your calendars and come join us in supporting our talented campers as they shine on stage! The Details:

Exploring Creativity through Art and Spanish Class:
In addition to their musical pursuits, our campers have been engaging in various artistic activities and enriching Spanish language classes.
🎨 Art Adventures: This week, our young artists explored the beauty of watercolor painting, creating vivid and vibrant art pieces inspired by figs. Their creativity knows no bounds, and the results have been breathtaking! In group ideation sessions, they came together to create captivating canvas paintings, showcasing the power of teamwork and collective creativity.
🗣️ Spanish Language Journey: Our campers have been actively honing their conversational skills in Spanish class. Emphasizing communication and interaction, they have been crafting new words and phrases, enabling them to express themselves confidently and engage in meaningful conversations.
After School Arts Programs:
We are excited to share the schedule for our enriching after-school arts programs! The program offers a wonderful opportunity for your children to further develop their talents and skills in piano, art, and Spanish.
🎹 Piano Sessions: For those who want to continue their musical journey and sharpen their piano prowess, our after-school piano classes offer a perfect platform.
🎨 Artistic Expressions: Joining the art classes will allow your children to delve deeper into various art forms, nurture their creativity, and create masterpieces they'll be proud of.
🗣️ Spanish Immersion: Our Spanish classes provide an immersive experience, encouraging language learning through exciting activities and engaging interactions.
Note: You can enroll your children for the full after-school arts program or choose specific classes based on their interests.
Bumble Bees
🐝 VPK Preparation: Our little Bumble Bees are buzzing with excitement as they prepare for VPK. They're sharpening their pre-reading skills and participating in engaging circle time activities.
🎨 They spent the week reviewing the days of creation and took home some of their awesome art!
We're excited to announce that all students moving up to VPK will have their Open House on Tuesday, August 1st. We can't stress enough how important it is for parents to attend this event, as we'll be sharing some vital information about VPK and also assisting with paperwork.
We can't wait to see you there and make this transition to VPK smooth and enjoyable for both you and your little ones! See you on August 1st!
The Little Lambs
👶 Our toddlers are taking strides in their development! They've been exploring summer, indulging in a lot of sensory play with Playdoh, paints, bubbles, water and more. They are also making great progress with potty training.
We extend the warmest welcome to our new teacher of the Toddler Class!
We are delighted to introduce Mónica Fernanda Burgos, who joins us as a crucial part of our team at Shining Bright Preschool and Arts. We wanted to share special message she has written herself:
"My name is Mónica Fernanda Burgos. I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and have been living in the United States for 5 years with my husband and my 2-year-old son.
Throughout my life, I have had the opportunity to engage in activities and jobs that have allowed me to learn and develop strategies, knowledge, and practices to support and foster skills in children. As a result, I am firmly convinced and committed to taking on the wonderful task of being part of the developmental process of the children at Shining Bright Preschool and Arts with responsibility, professionalism, and, above all, with much love and care. I am ready to offer all my experience to the community, from the little ones and their families to my colleagues and the administrative team, in order to build a great team in pursuit of this valuable cause."
We are thrilled to have Ms. Mónica as part of our team, and we know that her dedication and passion for teaching will greatly benefit our little ones. Together, we will continue to grow and create an enriching educational environment for all!
Please give Mónica a warm welcome when you see her at the school. We are excited to embark on this new chapter with her and each one of you.
Announcements
🕘 Camp Schedule: Camp begins promptly at 9 am. We kindly request that all students arrive on time! In preparation for the Fall's Back to School, please note that school will commence at 8:30 AM. Students will not be allowed to enter school after 10 am.
💰 Payments: All payments are due on Mondays, and late fees will be applied on Tuesdays.
🍱 Lunch Orders: Lunch is available for $4 per day and must be paid for and ordered on Monday mornings.
🎒 Labeling Items: To avoid mix-ups, please ensure that all your child's belongings, especially water bottles, are clearly labeled with their first and last names.
🚫 Outside Toys: For safety and organization, we kindly ask that no outside toys be brought to camp.
